Stockings up to the groin (AG) with silicone hold-up band and 15/18 mmHg compression to prevent deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) for subjects with body mass index (BMI) greater than or equal to 30. The reinforced silicone band does not roll up allowing a perfect wearability even on especially voluminous limbs with relaxed tissues. Suitable for surgical operations, during birth, prolonged bed stays, neurological and multitrauma patients. The elastic compression reduces venous volume and increases flow speed at equal venous capacities, reducing stasis which is a key factor in deep venous thrombosis (DVT). A special three-dimensional knitted fabric makes these stockings soft and comfortable and easy to wear. They are made with bacteriostatic yarn which, thanks to the presence of silver ions, blocks the proliferation of bacteria to ensure maintenance of the biological balance of the skin. These stockings maintain their characteristics when undergoing washing up to 80°.
